Efya promises fans new music as she performs in Kente at State Banquet in honour of Kamala Harris

Eclectic Ghanaian songbird, Efya delivered a powerful performance at the State Banquet in honor of VP Kamala Harris and her husband, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhof.

The 35-year-old singer-songwriter was among the list of Ghanaian acts including Amakye Dede and Wiyalla who thrilled guests including members of the U.S. government officials, the Presidency, and other invited guests.

The enthralling performance was one of her best yet as she sang a medley of Ghanaian gospel songs before proceeding to her own music as part of her set.

Looking patriotic in a beaded orange kente off-shoulder number by Ghanaian couturier, Quophi Akotuah, the “Best in Me” singer rocked an elegant curly evening bun with gorgeous makeup and accessorized with handmade earrings from Selina Beb.
