Gospel powerhouse and 5x GRAMMY-nominated gospel singer Travis Greene has announced a concert in Ghana on Wednesday, December 6, at the Empowerment Worship Centre—The Prayer Factory, Dzorwulu.

Dubbed “Celebrate Ghana”, the much-anticipated concert aims to bring solace and inspiration to Ghanaians after what many have described as a challenging year while presenting Ghanaians with the opportunity to experience spiritual upliftment like never before.

Speaking ahead of the event, headliner Travis Greene said: “…. in a world filled with challenges, we firmly believe that the constancy of God’s grace and love remains unwavering. It is in this spirit that we intend to create an atmosphere of authenticity, healing, and restoration for all who join us for this worship experience.”

With over three thousand worshippers expected to gather, the night will feature the likes of Ghana’s Joe Mettle, Phil Thompson, Victor Thompson, and more, who are expected to captivate the audience with soul-stirring performances featuring some of their most celebrated songs.

Known as a raw, expressive singer and songwriter, contemporary Christian and gospel artist Travis Greene incorporates several genres into his sound. Following his emergence in 2007, Greene gained wide acclaim, topping the Billboard gospel chart with 2015’s The Hill. The album spawned several Grammy-nominated hits, including “Intentional” and “Made a Way,” the latter of which stayed at number one on the Hot Gospel Songs chart for 13 weeks.

With seven Stellar Gospel Awards to his name, Greene’s impact on the gospel music scene remains undeniable, earning him a fifth Grammy nomination for “Won’t Let Go” from 2019’s “Broken Record” and returning in 2021 with “Oil + Water.

The ‘Little Things’ hit singer, Efya Nokturnal has emphasized the importance of therapy in the lives of every musician as they embark on their music careers.

Efya Nokturnal asserts that most musicians live a complicated life hence, seeking therapy helps to shape their minds, as well as prepares them for the plans they set to achieve.

The singer made this statement in an interview on GhOne Entertainment as she promotes her new EP titled “No More Tears”.

“For the management to provide therapy for their artistes I think that is a wonderful idea. So that they will be mentally okay before they step out into the world because it’s not easy. I think therapy is important for every artiste because as creatives, it is not easy for us because we go through a lot that we cannot express all the time because of the eye that is on us. So, we try to maintain and be a little private as usual. I think therapy is very important for any artiste”, she said.

Aside from musicians, Efya Nokturnal urged her fans to go for therapy as she thinks everyone needs a sound mind to go by their daily lives.

“I feel like therapy is necessary for anybody. As human beings, we all have a very complicated mind that we are trying to figure out daily so it is just about placing yourself in the right environment so that you can protect yourself and your mind”, she added.

During Thursday’s episode of The Run-Through with Vogue podcast, veteran rapper Nicki Minaj expressed her regret over having plastic surgery, saying that she was even shocked by some of the old photos of herself that she did not love before going under the knife.

“I guarantee you, if you change anything on your body and do anything surgical and all this, you’re going to — more than likely, not definitely, more than likely — look back one day and say, ‘I was fine just the way I was,’” the 40-year-old told hosts Chioma Nnadi and Chloe Malle, PEOPLE reported.

“And that’s what happened to me,” she continued. “I could not believe even some of the photos that I didn’t love.”

When the co-hosts touched on the Supa Bass rapper sitting alongside Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour at the Carolina Herrera Show in September 2011, Minaj explained that she opts not to look at her old photos because “I didn’t like the way I looked.”

“I didn’t like being skinny, having a flat butt, you know. Having boobs that didn’t sit high enough. It was a lot of things,” she added. “And when I look back at myself now, I literally was like, ‘Oh, I’m about to look like that girl again.’”

“The reason why I wasn’t able to look back at my old photos was I didn’t like the way I looked, right, physically,” the 40-year-old continued. “And now I love the way that person looks physically.”
