V/R : The Family Of The Late Ambassador Modestus Yao Zebu Ahiable Donates Educational Materials to Dzodze RC Demonstration School On His Behalf.

The family of the late Ambassador Modestus Yao Zebu Ahiable donated educational materials including library books, pens , files,bags to pupils of Dzodze RC Demonstration School in the Ketu North municipality, on Tuesday 6th February, 2024, in-line with an earlier promise days to his demise.

His Excellency Modestus Yao Zebu Ahiable was former Counselor of Dzodze, Former Member of Parliament for Ketu North, former Volta Regional minister and former Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Ghana to Benin republic; who passed on Sunday 21st January, 2024.

Mr. Abraham Kwame Ahiable who represented the late Ambassador recapped how before the sudden demise of the ambassador , he visited the R.C Demonstration school at Dzodze with him where he had a conversation with the headteacher towards a plan to give out educational materials to the pupils to enhance teaching and learning in the school.

Mr Abraham Ahiable mentioned that since it was the wish of his late father to do the presentation; the family decided to follow up and give out the items he prepared. Mr. Abraham Ahiable also added that even though the late ambassador was not very active, few years before his demise; he never ceased to give back to society and the family will continue from where he stopped.

Receiving the materials on behalf of the school, the headteacher for the Junior High School Mr Emmanuel Lorlormavor Kubi and Madam Catherine Buame who head the Junior High and Primary section of the school respectively ;thanked the family for the generous gesture and also sent their condolences to the bereaved family.
The head teacher said he will ensure the learning materials are put to very good use like the late ambassador desired.

Mr Abraham Ahiable on the other hand promised to continue all the good works that the late ambassador never stopped whiles thanking the teachers, pupils and parents gathered.
