Western regional minister Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah has described the Ngyeresia premix fuel explosion as worrisome looking at the danger and destruction it has brought to the community
3 people have now been confirmed dead while 5 of them have been transferred to Korlebu with 7 others receiving treatment at Efiankwata Hospital battling for survival
Mr Okyere Darko Mensah who led a government delegation to commiserate with the community assured of government commitment towards supporting the victims to settle bills at the hospital
He has therefore urged fishermen in the coastal communities to learn a lesson from what has happened since is not the first time such a thing has happened to prevent future occurrences
National premix fuel coordinator Mr Percy Quaicoe also expressed worry about the dangers with premix fuel and the number of times they have given warnings to keep it safe bit to no avail and called on the community to stand together in these difficult times
Esikado Ketan NPP parliamentary candidate Charles Bisue also assured the communities of all the support from all stakeholders to ensure that the damages are repaired to be able to get back to their normal ways.
