The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has assured the chiefs and people of the Savannah region on the completion of the Daboya bridge before the end of this year.
His Excellency Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia gave the assurance during his campaign trail at Damongo in the West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah region on Wednesday.
The streets of Damongo came to life with red, white and blue colors as the campaign trail of his Excellency Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia made its way into the heart of the region on Wednesday.
The Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party took his Bold solutions for the Future Campaign to the Islamic and Christian clergy, market women, youth groups among others.
Addressing the Savannah Regional House of Chiefs at the Jakpa Palace, his Excellency Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia excels the achievements of the Nana Addo Bawumia government laying emphasizes on the fulfillment of creation of the Savannah region.
His Excellency Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia says work on the Daboya bridge at the Daboya Mankarigu constituency has begun and assures the people of the completion of the project this year.
The New Patriotic Party flagbearer discloses that the government has completed three hundred and seventy eight projects with one hundred and thirty seven still ongoing in the Savannah region.
In a speech read on his behalf by the Kpembiwura Banbange Ndefoso the four (4 th) the president of the Savannah regional House of Chiefs Jira Yagbonwura Bekunutu Jewu Soale I commends the Vice President for his contributions towards the development of the Savannah region.
The Vice President also took his campaign to the clergy, market women and youth groups among others before bringing the campaign trail to a successive close.
