Black Stars have lost their 59th spot on the latest rankings released by FIFA, moving a place below to occupy the 60th position following the March international break.
The four-time Africn champions were back in action last month for the first time since bowing out of the 2022 World Cup in the group phase under Otto Addo.
The team which played under new manager Chris Hughton managed a win and a draw in their doubleheader against the Palancas Negras of Angola in the third and fourth matches of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
However, those performances were not enough to drive the team up or even maintain their spot on the rankings.
In Africa, while Morocco ranks number one, they sit 11th in the World rankings. Meanwhile, Ghana maintains their 11th spot in Africa behind the likes of Burkina Faso and Mali.
