I didn’t mean to disrespect women with my ‘tough skin’ comment – Kuami Eugene

Kuami Eugene has made a sharp U-turn after coming under severe criticisms over his ‘Any lady ready to fate me must have a tough skin‘ comments.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Sika Osei, Kuami Eugene revealed that he’s not in any romantic affair at the moment because although his partner may be loved.
But among other things, she will face criticism and hatred from haters as well as fans who may be unhappy that he is taken.

He said;
“everyone (in a relationship) wants to have one person to themselves, but if you wanna have me to yourself, it’s going to take some sacrifices because people won’t just allow you to.”
After his comments went viral on social, social media users bashed him for subtly describing ladies as cheap commodities.
Addressing the issue, the musician noted the statement was taken out of context during an interview on Kumasi-based Hello FM.
explained that “Since I continue to do music and remain a popular figure in Ghana I can’t assure you that people won’t say bad things about me or I won’t be attacked.
“That’s why I said if you are my partner get ready to receive your fair share of it and that’s what I meant by you should have a tough skin,” he clarified on the show.
Speaking, the singer said he was misunderstood to mean that there were a lot of girls chasing him.
He continued “That’s what I mean by having tough skin but I don’t mean to say that I have plenty of girls chasing me so when you come and meet about 50 girls you should be tough.

Flood victims of Mepe receive relief items from Gospel Singer Joe Mettle

Gospel Singer Joe Mettle Donates and Fellowships with Flood Victims of Mepe, Volta Region
Joe Mettle has extended his support to the victims of recent devastating floods in Mepe, Volta Region. This benevolence act, which serves as a beacon of hope in these challenging times, is part of his annual “Love Gift” initiative, where he visits communities, fellowships with them, and makes generous donations.

The renwoned gospel artiste, known for his soulful music and philanthropic efforts, donated essential relief items and spent quality time in fellowship with the affected individuals. The donation included camp tents, food items and provisions, clean water, clothing, and medical supplies, aimed at providing immediate relief to the victims who have lost their homes and belongings in the flood following the Akosombo Dam spillage.
In addition to the material aid, Mettle also spent time in fellowship with the victims, offering words of comfort and encouragement. His visit brought smiles to many faces, as he shared prayers and sang gospel songs, lifting the spirits of those present.
Mettle expressed his deep sympathy for the victims and urged others to contribute in any way they can. “It’s a difficult time for those affected by the floods,” Mettle said. “Through the ‘Love Gift’, we hope to provide some comfort and help them get through this challenging period.”

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for the North Tongu in the Volta Region, who received the donations on behalf of the community, expressed his gratitude. “We are deeply touched by Joe Mettle’s generosity.
