Kojo Antwi’s father goes home on Saturday, May 6

The mortal remains of the father of Ghana’s finest musician, Kojo Antwi, will be interred on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

The late Nana Kwadwo Tano Asiamah Asubonteng passed away at age 104 after a short illness.

He passed away on Monday, January 2 in Accra.

In a social media post to announce the funeral, Kojo Antwi urged family, friends and fans to join him in having a befitting burial for his late father at Oboo Kwahu in the Eastern Region.

“To Friends, Fans & Family, you are all invited.

Friday 5th May 2023, 7pm: LAYING IN STATE at Obo Kwahu Community Centre

Saturday 6th May 2023, 9am: BURIAL SERVICE at Community Center at Church of Christ – Obo Kwahu Branch followed by BURIAL at Osubeng Royal Cemetery.
11 am: FUNERAL at Obo, Kwahu

Sunday 7th May 2023, 9 am: THANKSGIVING SERVICE at Community Centre by Church of Christ followed by 12 noon THANKSGIVING RECEPTION.
