Alan postpones Ashanti campaign tour
The Alan 4 President Campaign has announced a postponement of the much-anticipated Ashanti Region campaign tour.
The tour was originally scheduled to have begun on Friday, July 28 and ended on Thursday, August 3.
But in a statement issued by Campaign Spokesperson and Director of Communications Yaw Buaben Asamoa, the Constituency Cluster Durbar in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stronghold will rather start on Monday, August 7 and end on Saturday, August 12.
“The change is to accommodate sensitive government and Parliamentary business due within the same period.”
The former Minister of Trade and Industry had introduced the innovative cluster durbars as he began in nationwide tour on Monday, July 4 in the Greater Accra Region.
On Wednesday, July 26, Alan Kyerematen picked Number 2 on the ballot for the upcoming National Congress for the Special Electoral College on Saturday, August 26.
The exercise was conducted at the party’s headquarters in Accra.
