Black Stars attacker Mohammed Kudus has been recognised for his exceptional performances in March, with two of his goals nominated for West Ham United’s Goal of the Month Award.

Kudus’ impressive brace against SC Freiburg in the Europa League has earned him nominations for the prestigious award. Additionally, he provided assists for two other goals that are also in contention for the accolade.

As the sole player with two goals nominated, Kudus stands out among the contenders, with the final winner to be determined through a voting process.

Following a challenging period in February, Kudus regained his fine form in March, showcasing his talent and contributing significantly to West Ham’s performances.

Despite Ghana’s disappointing campaign in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Kudus has bounced back strongly, making a significant impact for both club and country.

In addition to his Europa League exploits, Kudus also found the back of the net in a thrilling 4-3 encounter against Newcastle United over the weekend, further highlighting his attacking prowess.

Since joining West Ham last summer, the 23-year-old has proven to be a valuable asset, tallying an impressive 13 goals across all competitions, with his latest goal coming in the dramatic clash against Newcastle.

With his remarkable contributions on the field, Kudus has undoubtedly become a key figure for West Ham United, and his nominations for the Goal of the Month Award serve as a testament to his exceptional talent and impact on the team.
