Mohammed Kudus has admitted his admiration for West Ham United as the London-based club intensify their efforts to get the talented Ajax player.

The 23-year-old who is believed to be on the verge of joining the Premier League side served fans with a standout performance in the Europa League scoring a hat trick to inspire Ajax to a 4-1 win at Ludogorets.

Speaking after the game, Kudus passed comments to affirm the many reports linking him to the Hammers while praising the team.

“Good club, yes,” he said when asked about his thoughts on the Europa Conference League champions.

“Yes, I think it was my final game here at Ajax. But let’s see what happens in the next day.

“The talks are going on. We have to see if an agreement is reached in the next days”, he said.

While his performance helped Ajax to gain a convincing advantage over Ludogorets, it adds to the impressive numbers of Mohammed Kudus who starred throughout last season for both club and country.

He scored 17 goals in all competing for Ajax and stood out for Ghana at the 2022 World Cup. In the current season, he has already scored four goals for Ajax and has an assist to his name.
